ICMF

We have gained a proven track record of logistical excellence over many years by arranging large-scale events such as World Methodist Conference in Brighton (over 3000 delegates), and the Baptist Youth World Conference in Leipzig in 2008 (over 2000 delegates). We are also proud to have been in partnership with FestCorps, Inc., the organisers of the International Church Music Festival (ICMF) for over 25 years.

Sovereign Tourism helps create a successful festival held in June every year, which brings together church, university and community choirs and unites cultures from around the World.

The festival, with attendance of anything up to 800 people, alternates between Coventry, Chester and Bern. The 25th anniversary festival was celebrated in Rome in 2009, and was a tremendous success. Hundreds of musicians and their families from Australia, Canada, England, Holland, India, Italy, Kenya, Switzerland, Ukraine and the USA joined together for six days of rehearsals, performances and sightseeing in the Eternal City.

Performances took place in The Basillica of St. John Lateran, The Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and The Pantheon. There was also a short performance by the massed choir in front of Pope Benedict XVI in The Vatican during the Papal Audience. The Gala Concert (pictured above), took place in the magnificent Basilica of St Paul Outside The Walls, in front of an audience of nearly 1000.  

We, at Sovereign Tourism, are extremely proud of our association with this festival. The excellent planning and organisation on display in Rome was testament to our flexibility, ability in handling large events, and logistical excellence.
