Italy is synonymous with classic good food and wine. Eating Italian style is a long, lazy affair! Lunch and dinner go on for hours, with cheese, pasta, wine, and coffee forming a major part of the diet.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Milan
Transfer into the city. Walking tour of central Milan taking in the famous Duomo.
Day 2 - Milan / Liguria Coast
Explore Italy’s most beautiful coastline . Visit picturesque village of Portofino and overnight in Santa Margherita Ligure.
Day 3 - Liguria coast / Siena
Visit Forte Di Mare, and try rare Italian Cheeses such as truffle scented ‘crutin’. Lunch at a local restaurant in the fishing village of Viareggio to try local fish specialities such as Spannochi and calamaretti ripieni. Journey to beautiful Siena.
Day 4 - Siena
Morning guided tour including the famous Campo and Palazzo Pubblico and the Romanesque Duomo. Afternoon free. Evening dinner of Tuscan specialities with local wines.
Day 5 - Siena
Explore the divine countryside of the Montepulciano wine region - the land overflows with wine, olives and crops. Visit a local cheesemaker who still hand makes his cheese. Visit an Olive Mill to see how the Tuscan oil is pressed. Dine in an 11th century convent surrounded by scented herb terraces and orchards. Taste such artistic culinary delights as risotto of zucchini flowers, zucchini and tomato, before returning to Siena.
Day 6 - Siena
Explore quintessential Tuscany as you go to the Chianti Classico region. Visit wineries and vineyards of this region. Enjoy a tasting session of ‘super-Tuscan’ wines in a 12th century castle wine cellar. Light lunch of Tuscan favourites such as Bruschette di Pomodoro and Ribolitta.
Day 7 - Sienna / Perugia
Journey to the delightful town of Perugia in the heart of Umbria. In the afternoon attend a cookery school for a class which will take you through 10 favourite Italian appetizers. Wine tasting and dinner to end the class.
Day 8 - Perugia / Florence
Journey to Florence, cradle of Italian Renaissance. Afternoon walking tour of Florence including the Duomo. Dinner in a local restaurant.
Day 9 - Florence
Morning guided tour to include Plazzo Vecchio and the world-famous Uffizzi Gallery. Lunch is at a famous restaurant with its own wood burning oven, dining on a terrace with exquisite views and a variety of Tuscan dishes.
Day 10 - Departure from Florence
Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
